List of JavaScript Poems (2016)

I don’t have these in the navigation section of my site, which (time willing) will be getting an overhaul soon, seeing as I need all the CSS practice I can get.

It goes without saying these are all powered by nightingale, but they are also in chronological order:

Nightingale

“I wanted to say something but couldn’t think of how to put it into words./I lost 15.5 thousand dollars to some kid who rhymed cake with wake.“

Dawn

“But you put that foot to gas,/and the miles kept running past,/and the radio hums in time to the powerlines,/the stars twinkle and shine.”

Storm

“Years later,/I walked to a gas station with a friend,/composing love poems even I knew weren’t true,/about the way the light played in the puddles,/and the clouds making midnight of midday.

Retro

“I find myself lately, looking for solace in nostalgia./Hoping to remember the good times.“

Head In The Clouds

“But look at this, you can’t read half of it at any one time./And whoever reads it doesn’t have control./What kind of solution is that?”
