i traded the family cow for some rose quartz: poetry and fun facts by c.a. scarborough http://www.scribd.com/doc/152181105/i-traded-the-family-cow-for-some-rose-quartz
I love reading her work. Nobody really knows what alt-lit really is, but whatever it is, she is it. That said, there is an appealing interplay between playful experimentation and blunt unforgiving honesty. No single element of her style is unique, but the way she weaves it all together is something that I don’t think should be missed. I’ve yet to writer he up a poem, but she is definitely one of my writer crushes, and I’m ecstatic that we have the exchange that we do.
Maybe it isn’t for you, but you should at least pop over and give it a chance. In my opinion it’s a great little collection, a quick read, and it’s free.
