I keep getting these headaches.
He is arterial,
in that cell-bulging way,
splintering off into capillary moments.
I’ve been taking my coffee black,
not for some manly–
my tooth’s been hurting,
that same hurt of my filled cavities,
but this time I’m not on anyone’s dental,
so I take my coffee black,
and clench my jaw at night.
I keep getting these headaches.
